Discord

In order to be able to copy an ID number, you need to have Developer Mode enabled. Here’s how.

  1. Tap on the cogwheel in the bottom left corner of the desktop app to open up your User Settings.

  2. Then head to Advanced.

  3. Now, tap on the main toggle next to Developer Mode to enable. A “checkmark” means it’s enabled, while an “x” means it’s disabled.

To find a Server ID number:

  1. Navigate to the server you want to copy the ID from.

  2. right-click on the server icon, and then tap on Copy Server ID.

  3. Now you can paste this server ID number where needed.

Telegram

  1. Login to Telegram web app.

  2. Open the chat you want to get its ID.

  3. Your browser’s address should look like https://web.telegram.org/a/#-1234567890.

  4. Remove the scheme, the hostname and the path, keeping the anchor so your result looks like #-1234567890.

  5. Replace “#-” with “-100” so it looks like -1001234567890.

  6. You can now use your final result which should look like -1001234567890.

Slack

  1. From your desktop, open Slack in a web browser using your workspace URL (ex. acmeinc.slack.com).

  2. Once the page loads, the URL will be in the following format: https://app.slack.com/client/TXXXXXXX/CXXXXXXX.

  3. Your workspace ID is the string beginning with T.
