Blockchain is a distributed database
most of the articles say that Blockchain is a distributed database. Does it mean we can store any type of data in blockchain like audio, video ,pdf?

1It is more correct to say that the blockchain stores information about transactions. Other information can be stored by blockchains that support smart contracts. As far as I know, saving information is quite an expensive operation, so information in such systems is stored in IPFS in the form of documents, and hashes of these documents are stored in smart contracts
